When Hertz first started, Walter Jacobs owned only 12 Model-T Ford cars and named the company “Hertz Rent a Car.” Hertz has come a long way since then. The car rental giant now offers top-tier President’s Circle members a guarantee that they won’t be arrested more than once while renting cars from Hertz.
What is President’s Circle with Hertz?
The wealthy travelers who earn hertz president circle status will benefit from a number of perks. One of the most valuable is a fast-pass line, which allows you to skip the counter and choose your own vehicle on the spot. It’s worth noting that Hertz President’s Circle members also get access to a variety of premium vehicles, including Infinitis, Mercedes, and Ford Mustangs.
In addition to the perks mentioned above, Hertz President’s Circle members can earn double points on all rentals, and receive one free weekend day each year. Hertz has also recently introduced a pick-your-own-car feature at some US airports, similar to the one pioneered by National. This lets you choose from a designated selection of cars without waiting in the regular counter lines.
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards cardholders get an automatic upgrade to Five Star status, while Platinum and Diamond Medallion members get Hertz’s top-tier President’s Circle status. Hertz also partners with Delta to offer SkyMiles, and Diamond Medallion members can earn a bonus of eight miles per dollar on Hertz rentals.
